Anoyhaseyo, Korea! (16Sep 07)

The news announced the night before that we are entering into the season of Autumn. It's happening later and later in recent years. Perhaps the power of Global warming.

Third day of our trip.

First stop, heritage site, a palace. Some of its site were used for Dae jang Geum (Jewel in the Palace). Do you find any of it familar?






There DO store miso there! It smelled sweet. In the past, Koreans would store their spices or kimchi in these vats and bury them underground for fermentation. There were no fridge so they treat the underground like one.









Next stop, the Lotte World! It's a theme park. Unfortunately, the outdoor theme park is unavaliable due to the weather. It's also one of the filming site for Stairway to Heaven.


Being the youngest in the group, I guess I'm the happiest when it comes to theme parks.

This! Any recollection? It's still the same except that the painting on the wall by TaiHwa (step-brother of the main actress in the show) is gone.




Happy Birthday, Aunt. We celebrated for her in Jeju Island with a surprise birthday cake. All thanks to Jeson :) The cake's nice, I think it's made from the local fruit, which I'd forgotten its name, that's similar to orange. (Lolx.. it coincides with hx and clarence's birthday too.)

It's big with an ice skating rink in the middle of the multi-storey indoor theme park. The folk museum with historical exhibition, miniature village, etc, looks interesting too. A few hours isn't enough. I hope I can get to enjoy a day there. I'll be back, hopefully:)
